Bertha - At Hardy Terrace Long Term Care, Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday April 29, 2015, Bertha Walker , formerly of Kelvin, at the age of 85. Loving wife to Keith for almost 65 years. Cherished mother of Rosanna and husband Scott Svirk of Brantford; daughters-in-law Lori Walker of Brantford , and Lois Walker of Harley. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Rob, Chris, Angie, Jason, and Billy Jo, and great-grandchildren Landon, Trystin, Alex, and Dylan. Predeceased by sons William and Robert Walker, brothers Earl, Bill, and Lloyd Maguire, and sister Helen McEwen. Friends will be received at CROSSROADS CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, Hatchley Rd., Northfield (west off of Brant Co. Rd. 25) on Saturday May 2, 2015 from 1 - 2 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron Germain officiating. Interment to follow at Kelvin Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Crossroads Congregational Church. Arrangements entrusted to THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, Norwich (519) 863-3020.
