Obituary for Betty Doreen WALTHER (McWebb)

Betty Doreen (nee McWebb) - passed away peacefully on Friday June 5, 2015 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. Betty Walther of Otterville in her 87th year. Loving wife of John "Jack" Walther. Dear mother of Gary and wife Nancy of R.R.# 1 Norwich, John and wife Vicky of R.R.# 2 Delhi, Dorie and husband Len Girard of Long Point, Trudy and husband Gary Drake of Kitchener. Sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Dora (Smithson) McWebb and by her brother Clifford McWebb. Betty was a longtime member of Otterville United Church where she had been the organist for 12 years and was a member of the U.C.W. She was a member of the Otterville Sommerville W.I. for over 50 years. Betty volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society for many years. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St., W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Tuesday June 9, 2015 from 7 - 9 pm and on Wednesday June 10, 2015 from 2-4 pm. Funeral service will be conducted at the Otterville United Church Wednesday evening June 10, 2015 at 7:00 pm with Judi Restemeyer officiating. Interment in Otterville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Otterville United Church would be appreciated by the family.
