Carl Alexander- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, father-in-law and friend, who will be missed by all who knew him. Survived by his loving wife Blanche. Proud father of Nancy Cattell (Carl Miller), Rob (Janet), Janie Schaafsma (Phil) and Kim Baskett (Pat); grandchildren, Christine, John, Todd, Anthony, Andrew, Kyle, Colin, Alicia, Dustin, Haley and 9 wonderful great grandchildren, Rainen, Dylan, Mason, Brianna, Brooklyn, Paige, Brielle, Emery and Ryder . Survived by a brother Tom and a sister Pauline. Predeceased by his siblings, Wanda, John, Pete, Walter, Henry, Ed, Joe, Rosie and Stanley. Carl instilled laughter, love and enjoyed making people smile. He happily celebrated his 95th birthday in November. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main Street West, Norwich Ontario (519) 863-3020 on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service to celebrate Carl's life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday January 29, 2015 at 11 am with Rev. David Van Patter officiating. Interment Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to CCAC Woodstock or Norwich Historical Society.
