Cornelis - The Lord took unto Himself on Tuesday August 4, 2015, Cornelis Van Vliet of Norwich at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Annechien (Mooibroek) (2000). Loving father of Bert and Marian, Jane (deceased) and John, Meint and Cathy, Liz and John, Rick and Joyce, Margaret and Bill, Cornie and Vicky, John and Ria, Fred, Jim and Tina. Dear grandfather of 57 grandchildren, 124 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by 3 brothers-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law. Predeceased by a daughter, a granddaughter, a great-grandson, a brother, several sisters, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Friends will be received at The Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 49 Main St. E., Norwich on Wednesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday August 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. D.V. Rev. A. H. Verhoef officiating. Interment to follow at Norwich Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Rehoboth Christian School. Arrangements entrusted to THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, Norwich (519) 863-3020.
