Dorothy Florence - At Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg on Tuesday January 26, 2016, Dorothy Sackrider, formerly of Burgessville, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Sackrider. Loving mother of Fred and wife Vi of RR#3 Norwich, Gord and wife Fran of RR#1 Burgessville. Grandmother of Lorraine Primeau of Stratford; great grandmother of Kyle and Ryan. Dear sister of Rosie Smithson of Tara Cotta, Kay Parsons and husband Frank of Norwich, Charlie Sanderson of Norwich. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Tom (Edna) Sanderson, Lloyd (Grace) Sanderson, Bob (Rita) Sanderson. Dorothy was a member of Burgessville United Church. A special thank you to the staff of Maple Manor. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Thursday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to honour Dorothy's life will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lori Minler officiating. Interment Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society or VON Sakura House.
