It is with deep sadness that our family announces his passing away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, Ontario, surrounded by his family at the age of 79. Doug is lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Judy (nee Campbell) of Aylmer; his children Doug (Jennifer), Cindy (Mark) Zettler, the late Sean, November 24, 2017 (Sherri), Craig (Kim Wilkins) and Chris (Erin) all of London; and by their mother Linda. Also lovingly remembered by his daughters Shannon (Ian) Bruce, of Brockville; and Shauna Raymer, of London. Doug was a proud grandfather of 18, Alex, Ben, Meagan, Anthony, William, Christina, Cody, Spencer, Molly, Abbey, Josh, Cam, Emmie, Ashley, Ryan, Seth, Sheridan and Landon. Doug will be missed by his brother Gordon Wayne (Gloria), of Norwich, many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Rol (1991) and Ruth (2001), of Norwich, his siblings Brian, infant sister Sylvia and Rollie. In retirement, Doug enjoyed family genealogy, gardening, his dogs Brandy and Daisy and his cherished car “Buttercup”. He loved story and joke telling, was always hard working, enjoyed many years in sales especially his most recent times at Aylmer Home Hardware.
