After a brief illness, Eleanor Marlene McClelland (nee Pepper) passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord, with her family at her side on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Peoplecare Oakcrossing, London, Ontario in her 82nd year. Lovingly remembered by her children Arthur of London, Ruth McClelland (Will) of Brownsville, Ken (Anne Marie) of Norwich and Cathy (Mark) Sheppard of Bright’s Grove. Cherished by her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Gordon Pepper of Ingersoll, her brother-in-law Lyle (Kim) McClelland of Norwich, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and pen pals. The family wish to extend their deepest gratitude to the nursing staff at Peoplecare Oakcrossing, for their care of Eleanor during her 4 years at the home, especially in her palliative state. Family and friends will be received at the ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, Ontario 519-863-3020 on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 10-10:45 AM. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 am. Reverend Lola Mather-Dyer to officiate. Spring interment at the Norwich Cemetery. Donations in memory of Eleanor, may be made to the Springford Baptist Church.
