Jan A. (John) - At Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday July 26, 2015, Mr. John A. Byl of Norwich, at the age of 86. Beloved husband to Nellie. Dear father of John and wife Deb of Tillsonburg, Ada and husband Case Van Blyderveen of Courtland, Ken and wife Marga of Otterville, Corrie and husband Bill Stubbe of Otterville, Henrietta and husband Pete Hiemstra of Burford, Leona and husband Bill Den Dekker of Tillsonburg, Leo and wife Marieke of Norwich, Clarence and Michelle of Salford, Nico and wife Janneke of Salford. He will be sadly missed by his 42 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Brother of Leentje Van Dyk of Burlington, Cor and wife Nellie of Burgessville, Corrie and husband Gys Den Hollander, Rieke and husband Adrie Vermaas, Nico Byl, and sister-in-law Suze Byl, all of The Netherlands. Also survived by the family Klein of The Netherlands. Predeceased by brother Leen, sister-in-law Huibje, and son-in-law Richard Stubbe. Friends will be received at The Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 49 Main St. E., Norwich on Friday 2 - 3:30 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday August 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. D.V. Rev. E. Hakvoort officiating. Interment to follow at Norwich Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to NRC (Care Home) or Alzheimer Society.
