John Francis "Jack" - Peacefully at VON Sakura House, Woodstock on Sunday February 7, 2016, Jack Harris of Norwich at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Harris (2005). Dear father of Bob and wife Rosie of Norwich, Lori Cowan of Woodstock, Linda Harris of Woodstock, Elaine Zylstra and Bill Carter of Norwich. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Sabrina and husband Brett Sinden, Tina Harris, Courtney Van De Byl, Randy Zylstra and Kristina, Tyler Zylstra; great-grandchildren Alexes Harris, Hailey and Ryan Sinden, Jackson Avey and Shianne Harris. Dear brother of Jim and Joan of Norwich; brother-in-law of Gladys Harris and Margaret McKim. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by granddaughter Lindsey Van De Byl, son-in-law Jerry Zylstra, brothers Freddie, Clair and Bob, sisters Norma Andrews and Rosemary McArthur. Jack was a 50-plus year member of Norwich Legion Br. 190. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to honour Jack's life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment Norwich Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Norwich Legion Br. 190 or VON Sakura House.
