Lenore - Suddenly at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday February 7, 2016, Lenore Reeves of Norwich at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Murray Reeves (2007). Dearly loved mother of Patricia Reeves and husband Don Reynolds, Mississauga, Mary and Ken Stratton, London, Marilyn Reeves (the late Scot Smith 2003), London, Gord Reeves, Norwich, Irene Reeves and husband Randy Damm, Norwich, Douglas Reeves, London, Gwen Reeves and husband Mark Damm, Norwich, Gail Reeves-McAlpine and Greg McAlpine, Waterford. Also survived by 15 grandchildren: Caitlin and Mark Reynolds, Gregory and Tyler Stratton, Patrick and Ryan Smith, Michael, Shawn and Kathleen Reeves, Dallon and Kaeden Reeves, Erin and Jonathan Reeves Damm, David and Shannon McAlpine. Dear sister of Isabel Beveridge, Caledonia, Anne Jarman and husband George, Ancaster, Murray Aikens and wife Barbara, Chesley, Pat Haslett and husband Bill, Kingston. Predeceased by parents Orton and Frances Aikens, brother John Aikens and brother-in-law Bert Beveridge. Lenore received her B.A. in Psychology at University of Western Ontario 1974, Masters of Education at University of Toronto 1979, was a teacher 32 years with Brant County Board of Education, President of Brant Teachers Association, held numerous leadership positions in Norwich United Church , Oxford Presbytery and the London Conference of United Church of Canada. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Thursday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to honour Lenore's life will be held at Norwich United Church on Friday February 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Sydney Elias officiating. Interment Norwich Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Norwich United Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Cancer Society.
