Louis William - At Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday June 16, 2015, Lou Thomas of Norwich, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Metcalfe). Loving father of Nancy Johnson and husband Rick of Woodstock, Mary Wentzell and husband Larry of Kelvin, Bonnie Wentzell and husband Brian of Norwich, son-in-law Stuart Watson of Dereham Centre. "Dad" to Ralph and Wilma Bertrand of Woodstock. Sadly missed by his 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son Wayne (1967) and daughter Ann Watson (2006). Lou was an avid card player, longtime supporter of Norwich Jr. D and Jr. C Hockey Clubs, a hunter and loved going north. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Thursday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to honour Lou's life will be held at the funeral home on Friday June 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Adam Hanley officiating. Interment New Durham Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to VON Sakura House or New Durham Cemetery.
