Marinus Willem (Rene) - Unexpectedly at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday February 12, 2015, Rene de Jonge of Windham Centre at the age of 53. Beloved husband of Marguerite (Vanden Brink). Dear father of Jonathan, wife Nelissa and children Ashton and Aidan of Picture Butte AB, Sarah-Jane, husband Abe Cabalaris and children Lincoln and Jasper of Tillsonburg, William and fiancee Bailey of Ostrander, Andrew of Springford, Aletta of Tillsonburg, Joshua of Salford, Elisabeth of St. Catharines, Elaine, Paulina and Lydia, all of Tillsonburg, Caleb of Brantford, Jerusha of Oxford Centre. Son of Ko and Paula de Jonge of Norwich. Grandson of Mrs. A. Vanderspek of Norwich. Brother of Wim, Connie, Elien, Heleen, Adrian, and Paul. Brother-in-law of Henry, Neil, Aleta, Gary-John, and James. Friends will be received at The Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 49 Main St. E., Norwich on Monday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday 10 - 11 a.m. Funeral service to follow on Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. D.V. Rev. E. Hakvoort officiating. Interment Springford Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Rehoboth Christian School. Arrangements entrusted to THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, Norwich (519) 863-3020).
