Muriel Aileen (nee: Pash) ~ Passed away after a brief illness in her 94th year at Sakura House on Monday, January 29, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Alf in 2002. Mother of Bill (Sharon), Bob (Deb), Barb Hall (Don) and Mark (Nancy).
Cherished grandmother of Melanie Hall (Scott), Sarah Hamulecki (Mark), Nathan (Jade), Meghan Bari (Bryan), Joel (Allie), Scott (Jenn) and Craig (Heather) as well as her 8 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents William and Harriet Pash and her sisters Beatrice, Louise and Lily. Muriel was a devoted homemaker and later worked in the retail business while also keeping the books for Alf's contracting business. She was a charter member and past secretary-treasurer of the family's “World Scat Tour (W.S.T.)”, member of the Norwich Golf Club, a Norwich Merchants hockey team supporter and an avid Blue Jays fan.
Friends and family were received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich 519-863-3020, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral service to celebrate Muriel's life followed with Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Spring interment at the Norwich Cemetery. If desired, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society, Canadian Cancer Association or Sakura House would be gratefully acknowledged and may be arranged through the funeral home.
