Rose Marie - Suddenly at her residence on Saturday December 5, 2015, Rose Matthews of Napanee, formerly of RR#4 Hagersville, at the age of 73. Wife of the late Carl Matthews. Dear mother of Jim Matthews and wife Madeline Bates of Napanee, Connie Matthews and spouse Ken Cunningham of Odessa, step-son Bill Matthews and wife Debbie of Caledonia. She will be missed by granddaughters Jennifer Ondrich and husband Trent of B.C., Savannah Bates of Napanee; great-grandchildren Colton and Kara. Sister of John, Joyce, Jean, Cecil, Vince, Muriel and Ivan. Predeceased by parents Ivan and Muriel Peaire, brother Fred, sister Mary Lou, and nephew Jeff. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Thursday 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to honour Rose's life will be held at the funeral home on Friday December 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Allan Burr officiating. Interment to follow at Springvale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Arthritis Society.
