Passed away peacefully and quietly at Sakura House – Hospice, on Thursday, January 3, 2019, in her 87th year. Ruth will be deeply missed by Fred, her husband of over 67 years. Loving mother to Wayne; of Woodstock, Sharon and her husband Ken Phillips; of Norwich, Mark and his wife Colleen; of Noelville, and Darren and his wife Sandra; of Mt. Elgin. Ever cherished grandma Ruth to Erin (Taylor), Kyle (Melissa), Matt (Heather), Bryan (Bailey), Jessie (Ryan), Bobby (Adam), Randi (Jake), Corrie (Weston) and Taylor. Cherished “great” grandmother Ruth to Freya, Emery, Liam, Cameron, Nevaeh, Willow, Kali-Ann, Caddock and Sage. Ruth was predeceased by infant son Brian, parents Jack and Ruby Vigar, and all her siblings - Don, Ralph, Bob, Lloyd and June. As per Ruth’s wishes, cremation has taken place, with a private family service to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 519-863-3020.
