Obituary

With our most profound sadness, we share with you the news of the sudden, but peaceful, passing of Virginia Sutton (nee Van Acker) in her 82nd year. After an ongoing battle with Parkinson’s, our Lord, in his infinite wisdom, called her to rest in her eternal home in the early hours of Sunday, May 19, 2019.

Beloved wife of the late John Sutton. Loving mother of the late Gregory Sutton and Jeffrey (Mary) Sutton of Bradford. Cherished by her grand-daughter Rachel Sutton of Toronto. Virginia spent most of her life in the Norwich area where she, with her "cousins", grew up and raised their families.

Virginia was a long-standing member of the Knox Presbyterian Church of Norwich and the Women's Missionary Society. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Much gratitude is extended to the staff of the Elginwood Long Term Care home in Richmond Hill, ON for their devout companionship and support.

Family and friends will be received at the ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 7-9 pm and Friday, May 24, 2019 from 10-10:45 am. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 am. Pastor Alan Dowber officiating. Interment at the G. Walker Cemetery. Donations in memory of Virginia, may be made to the charity of choice.

With a heart full of sorrow I say good-bye to my Aunt Ginny. A woman full of grace and hospitality. She was one of the most gentle, loving people I have ever know. I will miss her terribly, but thank the Lord that she is at peace and no longer suffering. We will miss you terribly. Forever in my heart - I love you Aunt Ginny
