Wilhelmina (Miep) (nee van Vliet) - At Woodstock Hospital on Saturday August 1, 2015, Miep van Leeuwen (Norwich, ON) in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Gerrit van Leeuwen (1999). Dear sister of Cornelis van Vliet (Norwich, ON). Sister-in-law of Maria Olthof-van Vliet (ON), William Noorduyn (MI), Alie Reijneveld (NL), Ger van Leeuwen (NL), Gijsbert van Leeuwen (NL), Pietje van Leeuwen (NL), Jan and Marrie van Leeuwen (ON), Jan Houtman (NL). Aunt to many nephews and nieces of both the van Vliet and van Leeuwen families. Predeceased by her brother Reyk (1978), and sisters Gijsbertha (1996), Claudina (1996), Elizabeth (2004) and Cornelia (2007). Friends will be received at The Netherlands Reformed Church, 49 Main St. E., Norwich on Wednesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday August 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. D.V. Rev. A. H. Verhoef officiating. Interment to follow at Norwich Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Rehoboth Christian School (Norwich) or Woodstock Hospital Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, Norwich (519) 863-3020.
