It is with deep sorrow we announce, after a courageous battle with cancer, the passing of my dear wife of 46 years, to Cornelis (Corney) Vanderspek.
Loving mother to Corwin and his wife Marleen, Heidi Kleen and her husband Brian and Kirk and his wife Lindsey. Cherished grandma to Alexis, Kaitlyn, Danielle, the late Hunter, Gillian, Erica, Malin, Ren, Halle and Clarke.
Daughter of Mrs. Hendrika Otten. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Theresa (Gary), Averink, Dianne Kwintenberg and brothers John (Wilma), Gary (Connie) and Dean Otten.
Dear sister-in-law of Greta and John Sandham, Alleta (Ardie) and Derek Scholten, Hanny Knowles, Francine and Jim VandenBeukel, Joann Breitman and Dr. Alan Bernstein.
Predeceased by her father Gerrit Jan Otten, grandson Hunter Kleen, sister-in-law Jane and her husband Henry VandenBrink, bothers-in-law Wim Kwintenberg, Martin Breitman, Dennis Knowles and Mathew Herschap.
Family and friends will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 6-9 pm, and Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Heritage Reformed Congregation, 685 Main Street South, Burgessville, ON, from 9:30-10:15 am. Funeral service will be at the Heritage Reformed Congregation at 10:30 am. D.V. Pastor Pieter van der Hoek officiating. Interment to follow at the C.G. Walker (Quaker Street) Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
