Chaya, Jim and families. My deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved mom, sister and extended family. Growing up in Norwich, I was thinking about all the good times all of us had growing up. Win lived behind us, a couple of blocks. We'd all gather and walk to school together, both to public and high school. She was such a funny and loving person. As time went by, I graduated and didn't see her again, UNTIL our final reunion in 2010. What a wonderful surprise when she joined our committee, attended all our meetings and helped me with the "Memory Video". So many laughs we had. She and my brother Robert were such good friends. They both moved to Toronto and she told me stories of all their antics together :) I can just picture those to in heaven creating havoc. I hope so! I continued to visit with her every time I went back to Norwich. When she became ill, she didn't get depressed, she took it like a pro. I don't know where she got her courage. Oh how she loved Archie. They'd sit side by side on their computers, and that's where all the e-mails began. I know she's with her beloved husband in heaven now. We will celebrate you soon, April 27th at the Legion in Norwich Winn. And I will have a beer to celebrate your wonderful life !

So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing Chaya. We were great friends as children then reconnected many years later when we moved back to Norwich. We lived across the parking lot from each other and spent many days chatting with her and Archie and the cats. Always loved looking out at her beautiful red flowers around the back from our balcony. Lost touch with her when we moved to Nova Scotia a few years ago but think of good times together often. Ollie (Lees) and Ed Douma

Chaya, Jim and families. I just found out about Win and wish to express my sincere condolences on the loss of one of my old friends from N.P.S. ( Kindergarten to Grade 6.). I have many fond memories of Win and the fun times we shared together and with our class mates. A real loss to family and friends and much too soon. Sincerely, Pam Bishop Christie
