Miss Bailey was a kind and gentle piano teacher. I remember her big fluffy cats would jump up on my lap in the middle of a lesson. I had the pleasure of meeting up with her this past summer at the WGH when she was a hospital neighbour of my Dad's (Walt Cayley). RIP Miss Bailey. Vicki Cayley-DeCooman

Lois was a wonderful friend and teacher to me. As a young public school student, she saw potential in me as a boy soprano and with her gentle encouragement, kindness and unfailing patience enrolled me in area music festivals. This sparked a nascent interest in singing which I have carried forward into a professional classical singing career of over 30 years. Now as an university teacher of voice, I use her quiet and steady example as inspiration. Lois always kept interested and informed of my career and any success that I garnered at venues like the Metropolitan Opera or the Stratford Festival, I owe in large part to her early and always constant support and affection. RIP, Lois. "Angels sing thee to thy rest." Sincerely, John Avey

I have had great visits with Lois the last few months and I feel very blessed to have got to know her. She loved dogs expecially my Charlie girl who will miss Lois dearly. Charlie would sit on Lois lap and enjoy an occassional small nap during our visit. My condolences to the family. God has gained a beautiful angle. until we meet again....RIP.
